35 Best-evaluated Individual Papers from the SIOE 2016 Conference

By Jens Prüfer

Papers submitted to the annual SIOE conferences undergo a thorough review process. For the 2016 conference in Paris, each individually submitted paper was anonymously evaluated for its academic quality by two members of the program committee, chaired by Sergei Guriev. The reviewers used a scale from 1 (worst) to 5 (best). Papers were then ranked according to the average of the two evaluations they received. An astonishing number of 35 papers received the best-possible average ranking, 5 out of 5.
