The call for papers for the next annual SIOE conference, which will be held at Columbia University, New York, on June 23-25, 2017, has been publicized. It had already been known that, with Matthew Jackson (Stanford) and Duncan Watts (Columbia), two superb keynote speakers would headline the conference. Now they will be joined by Oliver Hart (Harvard) and Bengt Holmström (MIT), the two recipients of the 2016 Nobel prize in economics. It will be a great honor and it speaks to the relevance of this conference that these two long-time thought leaders in an area that is at the heart of SIOE, contract theory, agreed to join us at this moment.
The Program Committee, chaired by President-Elect W. Bentley MacLeod, invites you to submit your proposal to present a paper at the conference. Paper proposals are due by January 16, 2017.
